An X Pixmap is an opaque object which lives in the server. The exact
structure of the Pixmap will depend upon the depth of the Pixmap and
several other server determined characteristics. For a full
discussion of Pixmaps you will be best served by reading the O'Reilly
& Associates _Xlib Programming Manual_ (Volume 1 of the X series)
section on Pixmaps and images.
