Install the demo version of IDL (Interactive Data Language) from
Research Systems, Inc (/cgi-bin/exit-to?http://www.rsinc.com). The demo mode is limited
to 7 minutes per session, and does not allow you to write out data
files. However, it does allow you to write out PostScript files.
The software is excellent for creating plots, and it is very easy to
program. You could write out the data file from your xforms app, and
read it and plot with IDL.
