XForms: Can a create func be used more than once?

I have an array of FD_Main_Sound pointers...

FD_Main_Sound *fd_Main_Sound[1000];

is it valid to keep using the fdesign output function

create_form_Main_Sound() over and over to make new windows in different
indices of the array?

The reason I ask this is because I am getting some strange behaviour with a
custom object within the form. Otherwise everything is ok (with all the
usual objects).

I vaguely remember reading that you can't do this.. but can't find it for the
life of me.
