Hello:

I am using XForms 0.84.3 on Linux ELF.
Here are a couple things I saw:

a) I still get the "can't resolve symbol snprintf"
I am using Red Hat 4.1 ELF with GCC 2.7.2.1 and libc-5.3.12
The funny thing is, the "can't resolve.." only happens if I run
from a WM menu. If I run it from a shell prompt in an xterm,
fdesign starts up normally

b) There is a problem in fdesign when you use it to change colors
of a box. It says something like fl_set_color (FL_DOGER_BLUE..)
when this should be FL_DODGER_BLUE. This doesn't happen to
other things like buttons, just boxes.

For my questions: I am using a combination of pixmapbuttons and ordinary
buttons in my form. Why is it that the pixmap buttons automagically get
depressed when the mouse pointer passes over them? I had set color1 ==
color2 so the strange outline doesn't come out (I don't like it). I want
the pixmapbuttons to depress only when they're pressed. How do I do this,
other than using a hidden button with a static pixmap on top of it that is
dynamically changed when the button is pressed?

Second: is there a command to get the size of the screen? I would like
my form to autoposition itself at the bottom edge of the screen, centered
horizontally (it's a taskbar sort of thing). I'm know very little of Xlib
programming, the only solution I thought of is to use some Xlib function
to query the root window and thus get the window size. Is there a better
solution than this?

Thanks very much.
