v 0.84 and linux

Hi,

Currently I am running Linux 2.1.13 (Slackware) and ELF. Strangely enough
the ldconfig sharedlibrary tool doesn't recognize the new libforms.so.0.84 ,
while the libforms.so.0.81 worked flawlessly.

/opt/lib 54 % ldconfig -vl libforms.so.0.81
ldconfig: version 1.7.10
libforms.so.0.81 => libforms.so.0.81 (changed)
/opt/lib 55 % ldconfig -vl libforms.so.0.84
ldconfig: version 1.7.10
ldconfig: libforms.so.0.84 is not a shared library

Anybody any idea ?

PS: the static library works fine.
